The 27-year-old physician interned at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia for a year before entering the Navy in July 1967. The lieutenant, a Boulder, Col., native, had attended George Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis before coming to Philadelphia. He died in Vung Tau, Vietnam, on Feb. 23, 1968.
