Post attended Olney High School for three years before his family moved to suburban Montgomery County. The 19-year-old Army specialist four, an ammunition bearer and gunner with Company C of the 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile), died in Vietnam on May 21, 1966. He was survived by his wife, parents and a sister.
