The 16-year Army veteran was a photo specialist. He was sent to Vietnam in August 1966 and assigned to Detachment B of the 1st Military Intelligence Battalion. Muscara, 33, died on April 28, 1967. The sergeant first class was survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters.
