The 22-year-old specialist four had big plans. He was looking forward to a career in the Army and had bought a lot in New Jersey on which he was planning to build a borne. Mar-shall had attended South Philadelphia and Bok Vocational high schools before joining the Army in 1960. He was stationed in Germany and volunteered for Vietnam duty in 1965, serving as an automatic rifleman with Corn-puny A of the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry. Marshall died on April 30, 1966. Survivors include his parents and five brothers.
