As the oldest of nine children "Tommy" Killion had a lot of responsibility on his young shoulders, but his parents said he never cornplain. He was president of his section during his sophomore year at Father Judge High School and, after graduating in 1967, be worked for Dean Carbide Co. in Trevose. Bucks County. He entered the Marine Corps in February 1968 and planned to get married and join the Philadelphia Fire Department when he returned borne. The 19-year-old private first class, a rifleman, was assigned to Company D of the 1st Battalion, 26th Marines, 1st Marine Division, in Vietnam Kill-lion died in Quang Nani Province on Nov. 17, 1968. He was survived by his parents, six brothers and two sisters.
