A native of Philadelphia, Hall entered the Army in April 1965 and re-enlisted in 1968. The 26-year-old sergeant served in Germany before being sent to Vietnam in 1968, where he was a member of the 243rd Field Service Company. Hall, a laundry and bath impregnation specialist, died on Sept. 19, 1969. He was survived by his wife.
