Major Flood, 35, joined the Army in 1956, the year after he graduated from La Salle College with a bachelor's degree in biology. A provost marshal stationed with the 204th Military Intelligence Detachment at Phu Bai, Vietnam, Flood died on Aug. 11, 1968. The St. Joseph's Preparatory School graduate was survived by his parents, three brothers and a Sister.
