After graduating from Abraham Lincoln High School with the Class of 1965, "Andy" Anderson's classmates thought he would enter the business world. Instead he joined the Army. The 20-year-old sergeant, a supply clerk and a gunner with Company B of the 2nd Battalion, 8th Infantry, 4th Infantry Division, died in Vietnam on July 2, 1968.
